However, each location or camper rental company offers different terms and conditions. The most important terms and conditions which apply to all our rental motor homes are listed in the information below. All conditions are applicable for most of the camper suppliers, however terms and conditions can vary per camper rental company. Through Holidaycampers.com you can make a quote for your RV rental. This quote has a validity of 14 days. After that we are happy to make you a new quote. If you like to convert your quote into a booking, you have to confirm this by email. As soon as your booking is confirmed by the supplier, you can only cancel according to the conditions of the supplier. At that moment youo have agreed to payment.
The published rates are inclusive of rental vehicle, liability insurance, theft and damage insurance, local taxes. Unless otherwise mentioned in the specific rental conditions of the supplier.
Fuel, personal accident insurances, extras and where applicable, young drivers' surcharges and extra driver surcharges. These costs vary by location oe supplier. When making your booking you can ask for information about surcharges. At most locations windscreens, tyres and towing costs are not covered by the insurance, a liability insurance can be arranged at some locations. An extra insurance can sometimes be mandatory if you are planning to cross borders. All extra options are excluding local taxes.
Personal Accident Insurance. Most travel insurances offer coverage for personal accidents (check before departure). If not covered, you can buy this on collection of your camper.
In case of accident, theft or break-in, the rental company will hold the renter responsible for the full amount of the excess. If and when you are required to pay this excess at the location, Holiday Campers will reimburse the costs. We believe in keeping your holiday trouble free. Ask about the terms and conditions. The No Risk Guarantee must be booked in advance when making your reservation at a cost of €7.50 per day. Read the specific conditions at the No-Risk page.
One rental day is interpreted as a period of 24 hours. Included in this 24 hour period is the time where in you collect and return the rental camper.
One way rental must always be confirmed in advance and may result in additional charges. Some rental companies determine minimum a rental period for specific one-way rentals.
The opening hours of the rental stations are shown in the conditions per supplier, however rental companies may have fixed operating hours for pick-up and collection of the motor home.
The indicated capacity of the camper is determined by the number of beds. The type of vehicle mentioned is always one of a category and is subject to availability. We reserve the right to provide an alternative vehicle in the same category determined by the number of passengers and other features.
Most rv-rental compasnies have a minimum age of a driver 21. Drivers and extra drivers above the age of 75 must be in possession of a declaration of health.
The driver must have held a drivers licence for a minimum of one year. All drivers must be able to produce a valid drivers licence on request of the local authorities.
At some locations there can be an additional driver surcharge. Check before booking. The same rules apply to extra drivers as to the main driver.
Holiday Campers charges no reservation fees.
The name and address of the camper company where you can collect your motor home is printed on of the rental voucher. We advise you to check the camper on damage and make sure this is noted on the rental agreement. Suppliers in the United States and Canada may require that you spend your first night in a hotel, before pickup of the vehicle to ensure you are well rested.
At the end of the rental period you must return your vehicle to the correct place at the arranged time undamaged and clean. Check that your vehicle is returned to the same rental company as it was collected from.
In case of an accident you have to call the police immediately and acquire a full police report. You must inform the rental company within 24 hours. You should also write your own report, pictures of the vehicle may function as proof. When you fail to do so, there will be no compensation.
Unless damage to the vehicle is noted in the rental agreement before departure, the hirer will receive a vehicle without problems or visible damage. The hirer is therefore responsible for any damage which occurs as a result of incidents during the rental period to the limit of the excess damage.
Most camper rental companies require a deposit equivalent to the amount of the excess. A credit card issued in the name of the main driver is mandatory. All fuel costs must be paid by the renter. It is not possible to be reimbursed for unused fuel.
Child seats and other extras are on request and subject to availability. In most States in the US child seats for children under 3 years of age are compulsory and must be requested in advance. Children of 3-5 years must always wear a seat belt or sit in a child seat.
Thee price of all additional items which must be paid at the location are excl. tax and are subject to change without prior notification.
Cancellation has to be done through Holiday Campers, it is not permitted to cancel directly with the supplier. The following costs apply:

For (partially) unused vouchers there can be no reimbursement. No reimbursement is given when you collect your vehicle later or return it sooner than the given dates and times. This also applies when you cannot rent the vehicle because you are not in possession of the right official documents.
If you are, for whatever reason, not satisfied with your rental vehicle, you have to report to the rental company immediately. It is very difficult to judge a claim about the state of a vehicle after the rental period is over. Holiday Campers must always be informed of any problems to enable us to find an appropriate solution. Filing a complaint at Holiday Campers must be done in writing with a copy of the local rental agreement and credit card statement. This must be done within 6 weeks of your return. When dealing with the problems and complaints, Holiday Campers will take on the roll of mediator between the customer and the rental company. Voluntary insurance payments paid at the location cannot be reimbursed. No reimbursement can be made if you have accepted certain alternatives at the location without intervention or information from Holiday Campers
In the case of mechanical problems you must immediately inform the rv-rental company, the telephone number can be found on the rental agreement. Permission for reparations or a replacement camper must be given by the local rental company.
Holiday Campers is an intermediary for the rv-rental company, the rental agreement is made up by the camper rental company which provides the camper. Customers are therefore subject to the terms and conditions of the rental contract and the laws of the country wherein the vehicle is rented. Holiday Campers is therefore not responsible for loss, damage or changes to the vehicle, delays or changes which happen because of civil conflict, corporate dilemmas including air traffic, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disasters, fire or unfavorable weather conditions, cancelled flights, or airline bankruptcies.
The published rates are correct at the moment of publication. However changes in federal, state or local laws and taxes can cause price increases. We reserve the right to adjust our published rates at any given moment.
